It is very nice to see some product discussion here. I take a lot of phone calls regarding the company\'s products - how they work, why are they different from the competition, why aren\'t we using them in the United States , etc.

To know how the company\'s products work (particularly the street lamp products) is to fully understand the problem with the flow of electricity in China .

Demand simply out-weighs production in China . This leads to a constant and excessive load on virtually every electrical grid in China . When these grids are at 100% capacity, certain problems are manifested in broad and sweeping ways.

A major problem in China is that the AC current is not stable. In the US and most other 1st World countries, AC current is stabilized at 220v. The variance from 220v is negligible, and as a result those devices that require electricity to function generally meet or exceed their life expectancy and on the whole perform with little to no issues.

In China , because of the constant demand and burden at 100% capacity, the flow of electricity is not as stable. In fact, it fluctuates wildly between 150v and 320v. These dips and surges have a very debilitating effect on the electrical grid and on those devices that require electricity.

Constant brownouts, rolling blackouts, and shortened life expectancy of electrical devices (due to inconsistent and improper functionality) are the three main problems with such de-stabilized electricity.

The company\'s products are placed at the main transformers and are designed to stabilize the electricity at 220v from that point forward. This essentially stops the dips and surges, stabilizes the monthly usages, which almost always results in less energy used, and in general extends the life of the devices dependent on the flow of AC current.

The company\'s in-house development team controls this through very sophisticated algorithms, and this is what differentiates their products from their competition, whose products tend to only reduce the amount of electricity used, rather than stabilizing it.

In emerging economies ( China and India as examples) the company\'s products are the ideal solution because de-stabilized AC current is a major culprit in hindering growth. You can see why their products are technically not suitable for use in North America, Europe , and other highly developed, stable electric infrastructures.
